Dalia Akter serves as an Assistant Trainer at SSD Academy under the ISEC Project. Holding Level-2 national credentials in Tailoring & Dress Making alongside extensive practical instructional experience, she specializes in garment construction, pattern drafting, and apparel design. Dalia is dedicated to delivering hands-on vocational skills that foster women's empowerment, self-reliance, and sustainable livelihood opportunities across local communities

Dalia Akter is a dedicated technical educator and vocational craft trainer who assists in delivering competency-based apparel and tailoring programs at SSD Academy. With recognized vocational qualifications under the National Skills Development Authority (NSDA) framework, she combines solid practical expertise with an approachable teaching style tailored to community learners.

Prior to her role at SSD Academy, Dalia gathered valuable instructional experience as a Tailoring Trainer at Nisha Technical Institute. Within the ISEC Project at SSD Academy, she provides structured, hands-on workshop facilitation, guiding trainees through fabric cutting, machine operation, garment assembly, and finishing techniques to prepare them for self-employment and textile industry opportunities.

• Tailoring & Garment Construction: Assisting in conducting practical sessions on garment measuring, pattern drafting, fabric cutting, and sewing machine operation.
• Dress Making & Finishing: Guiding trainees through stitching methods, seam finishing, quality checking, and garment alteration techniques.
• Workshop Practice & Safety: Assisting in workshop maintenance, organizing tailoring tools and materials, and enforcing occupational safety and health standards.
