Mohammad Elias

Mohammad Elias serves as the Electrical Installation & Maintenance (EIM) Assistant Trainer at SSD Academy under the ILO-ISEC Project. With an engineering background in Civil Technology and national NTVQF certification in Electrical Installation and Maintenance, he delivers practical, workshop-based technical instruction. Elias is dedicated to training youth in electrical house wiring, safety protocols, and applied technical skills to foster employment and entrepreneurship across local communities. 

Mohammad Elias is a technical trainer and engineering practitioner who assists in delivering competency-based electrical trade programs under the ILO-ISEC Project at SSD Academy. Having completed his Diploma-in-Engineering curriculum and certified under the National Technical and Vocational Qualification Framework (NTVQF), he combines technical theory with practical, hands-on workshop training.

Throughout his technical journey, Elias has completed formal training across electrical installation, basic electronics, and entrepreneurship development with institutions including TTC Cox's Bazar, UCEP Bangladesh, and the Department of Youth Development (DYD). At SSD Academy, he assists in managing workshop practicals, demonstrating wiring connections, enforcing electrical safety standards, and preparing students for sustainable technical careers.

• Electrical Installation & Maintenance: Assisting students in electrical house wiring, circuit connection setups, electrical fittings, and equipment maintenance.
• Practical Workshop Management: Demonstrating tool handling, measuring instruments, conduit installation, and distribution board wiring.
• Occupational Safety & Health (OSH): Enforcing workplace safety protocols, electrical hazard prevention, and proper workshop housekeeping during practical sessions.
• Trainee Mentorship: Supporting trainees through troubleshooting, electrical testing, and entrepreneurship mindset preparation.
