Paira Zannat is a dedicated vocational training practitioner, garment construction specialist, and community development trainer leading the Tailoring & Dress Making curriculum under the ILO-ISEC Project at SSD Academy. Currently pursuing her Bachelor of Social Science (BSS) degree at Cox's Bazar Govt. College, she bridges technical garment-making expertise with structured community-based training methodologies.
Throughout her career, Paira has gained extensive hands-on experience in both industrial and non-governmental TVET environments. Her background includes serving as a TDM Trainer for UTTARAN in Teknaf, Associate Trainer at Risda Bangladesh, and industrial dressmaker at Aparupa Tailors. At SSD Academy, she oversees workshop training, practical sewing demonstrations, pattern drafting, and entrepreneurial skill-building to prepare trainees for wage employment and small-scale business initiatives.
