On July 30, 2026, the SSD Academy Consortium—comprising Step-Up Skill Development Academy (SSD Academy), Reliance Technical Institute (RTI), and Sharif Technical Training Institute (STTI)—successfully hosted a high-impact Stakeholder Workshop and Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Signing Ceremony on Garment Production & Uniform Supply under the ILO-ISEC Project.
Held at the newly established Tailoring & Dress Making (TDM) Production Center at Tajwidul Quran Madrasa & Orphanage in Morichya, Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar, the event brought together leadership from over 20 schools and madrasahs, including institutional directors, principals, Muhtamims, and local elected representatives.
Key Highlights & Strategic Outcomes:
Formalized Supply Agreements: Four institutional MoUs were signed on-site to establish long-term procurement partnerships for the annual manufacturing and supply of institutional school uniforms and laboratory aprons.
Production Facility Walkthrough: Delegates observed full-scale, active operations at the TDM Production Center—witnessing pattern drafting, precision cutting, industrial stitching, finishing, and quality control performed by program beneficiaries.
Pipeline Expansion: Leadership from other attending institutions submitted official documentation to initiate upcoming supply contracts and formalize subsequent partnership rounds.
Sustainable Market Linkages: The initiative creates a viable commercial bridge linking certified female TDM graduates directly to institutional demand, securing continuous wage-earning opportunities and enterprise self-reliance.
The event was graced by Md. Serajul Islam, National Project Manager (NPM), ILO-ISEC Project, alongside key leadership figures from SSD Academy, RTI, STTI, and local administration.
